Account and profile information
This can include your username, email address, email-verification status, password hash, interface language, timezone, city and country, games, experience or familiarity, play-style information, biography, profile picture, and private contact methods you choose to save. Profile pictures you upload or import from a linked sign-in provider are normalized into a local copy rather than keeping or hotlinking the original image.
Third-party sign-in
AroundTable may offer registration, sign-in, or account linking through third-party identity providers such as Google or Discord. If you choose one of these options, AroundTable may receive a provider-specific account identifier and basic account information made available for authentication, such as your email address, display name, or profile image. The exact information depends on the provider and the permissions shown during sign-in. AroundTable does not use social sign-in to read unrelated account content, contacts, private messages, or to post on your behalf unless a future feature clearly asks for separate permission.
Listings, groups, invitations, and requests
AroundTable processes information you submit when you create or manage listings and groups, invite people, express interest in listings, write introductions, respond to requests, and choose contact details to share after an acceptance. If you enable contact reuse, AroundTable can prepare the same unchanged contact methods you previously shared with the same person for a later acceptance. External group invitations can include an email address supplied by the group owner. AroundTable also keeps short-lived timestamps of selected actions such as listing creation, interest-request submission, and report submission to enforce rolling abuse-prevention limits.
Location information
AroundTable stores city-level location information and the selected city's GeoNames reference point where location features are used. If you explicitly use browser Location Services, AroundTable temporarily receives your device coordinates so GeoNames can resolve them to a nearby city. Those device coordinates are not saved to your profile.
Safety, reports, and moderation
Reports can contain the reason for the report, information about the reported account or listing, report-time snapshots needed to understand what was reported (including a profile picture when relevant), staff review notes, outcomes, suspension information, and staff audit history. AroundTable also keeps limited submission history to enforce report-rate limits and reduce abuse.
Technical and security information
Sessions can contain an account identifier, IP address, browser or device user-agent information, session data, and last-activity time. AroundTable may also process ordinary server and application logs needed to diagnose failures, secure the service, and investigate abuse.
Contact messages
The Contact form processes the category, optional name, reply email address, subject, message, interface language, submission time, and—when you are signed in—basic account context. Contact submissions are sent to the appropriate AroundTable mailbox; AroundTable does not keep a separate database of Contact-form messages.
